Souris is home to one of Manitoba’s Star Attractions – the Souris Swinging Bridge. It is Canada’s longest swinging suspension bridge measuring 604 feet long and attracts thousands of tourists each year. Located close to the Souris Swinging Bridge is where you will find our unique museums, including one of Canada’s most important heritage properties. The Hillcrest Museum, Railway Museum & Diesel Engine Simulator, The Plum Heritage Museum & Tourist Centre allow you to step back in time and learn the history of Souris through personal tours available by appointment.
Souris Manitoba has a number of venues to hold the ceremony such as the Plum, The Souris Hotel, The Swinging Bridge, The Lookout Tower, The Hillcrest Museum, Victoria Park, and the Avalon Theatre. For larger groups of 100 or more, ceremonies can be held at the Souris Community Hall, Kirkup Lounge in SGMC, the Ag Grounds, Victoria Park, The Whistling Donkey, Souris -Glenwood Golf Course, or at the Rustic Retreat B & B. Major church ceremonies can be held at the St Paul's United Church, Apostolic Church of Worship, Faith Community Baptist Church, St Mary's Catholic Church, and St Luke's Anglican Church.
